What is Gamgamstyle?
Gamgamstyle is the October 2026 AI revival of Gangnam Style — PSY's 2012 K-pop hit with the iconic horse-riding dance. Creators use AI video models like Kling and Veo to make characters dance it: Gandalf, the Harry Potter trio, the three Spider-Men, and the leads of the Turkish drama Kara Sevda. Each fandom spins its own version, which is why the trend keeps regenerating instead of dying.
Where the name comes from
"Gamgamstyle" is the community spelling of the trend on TikTok, used as the tag for the AI-made versions (#gamgamstyle), while #gangnamstyle collects everything else. Searching either tag on TikTok in late October 2026 returns a feed of AI characters doing the horse dance.
The trend, in numbers (October 2026)
- 50+ new videos in 48 hours on the #gamgamstyle tag, with over 2 million combined plays — and accelerating.
- Top AI versions: the Kara Sevda leads (1.1M plays), Hogwarts night version (560K), Lord of the Rings version (446K), Spider-Man trio version (208K in its first 12 hours).
- The original Gangnam Style MV passed 5 billion views on YouTube; the song is 14 years old and still instantly recognizable — that's what makes the dance a perfect AI meme template.
Why the AI versions exploded
Nobody can re-film PSY's dance with Gandalf — but an AI video model can generate it from a single reference photo plus a dance prompt. The gap between "impossible" and "one photo away" is exactly what makes people comment "what's the app?", "what was the prompt?" and "how do people make these lol" under every viral version. The demand is real: Russian-speaking creators are already paying a Telegram bot (VeoSeeBot) to generate these videos for them.
How people actually make them
Three routes exist today:
- An AI video model directly — Kling or Veo with a tuned Gangnam Style prompt and a character photo. Most control, most setup.
- A Telegram bot — VeoSeeBot popularized this in the Russian-speaking market. Works, but Telegram-only, Russian-first, and you wait in a queue.
- This site — Gamgamstyle AI packages route 1 behind one upload button: photo in, finished vertical MP4 out, tuned prompt built in. Free during early access with code GAMGAM16.
If you want the raw prompt instead of the tool, the Gamgamstyle prompt library gives it away free.
Is it legal to make one?
The dance itself is a choreography fans have recreated for 14 years. What to keep in mind: the song's rights belong to PSY/YG Entertainment (add the trending audio inside TikTok, as the viral creators do), don't present AI output as real footage, label it as AI-generated where the platform asks, and only upload photos you have the right to use. This site is an independent fan-made tool and hosts neither the song nor the original video.
