Gandalf Gangnam Style
"The Lord Of The Rings Gamgamstyle" reached 446K plays in 34 hours on TikTok (@yapayzekaserisi) — Gandalf and the Middle-earth cast doing PSY's horse-riding dance, AI-generated. The comment section is the usual mix of awe and demand: "Is this AI?", "how do people make these lol", "what was the prompt dawg".
Why the LOTR version works
Gandalf is the perfect Gangnam Style protagonist: long hair and robes that swing with the moves, a dead-serious face doing a ridiculous dance, and a fandom that has memed "YOU SHALL NOT PASS" for two decades. The grey-beard-in-yellow-suit contrast is the joke.
Make yours in 3 steps
- Upload a Gandalf photo — cosplay shot, AI-generated portrait, or action figure photo all work. Face and beard visible, vertical framing.
- Add the character note "an old wizard with a long grey beard, grey robes and a pointed hat" so the model keeps the costume.
- Generate and download — vertical MP4, add the trending audio in TikTok, tag #gamgamstyle #lotr #ai.
The fandom setting swap (a wizard's hall instead of the plaza) makes it hit home for LOTR fans — the prompt library shows how.
